David Fankhauser, most often called ‘Dave’ – because who can pronounce his Swiss-German last name? – is a 20 year Tellico Plains resident who moved here to begin a new adventure in this beautiful mountain community with three generations of his family.
Dave has been active in Tellico Plains’ development from the very first day by purchasing and rehabbing old, worn-out buildings to good-as -new. Since Day One, he’s been intentional on how best to balance the beauty of this rural area while planning for sensible growth; and most of all, how to keep Tellico Plains a home for all, preserving its core of family values and serenity.

Fyke is from Niota, Tennessee and honorably served in the United States Air Force. After he separated, Fyke completed his Master’s Degree in Business Management. Since then, he has owned his own logistics company and worked as a financial advisor in the Chattanooga area. While in Chattanooga, he found his passion for real estate. He flipped several homes in the area and decided to be a permanent real estate agent with Skyway Realty. He chose Skyway because of the reputation of the team and, of course, the location! Growing up as a boy scout, he visited Tellico Plains quite often and cannot imagine a more beautiful location to live and work. He is dedicated to customer service and wants nothing but to improve his clients lives.

Osvaldo Ferrer, or what he likes to be called “OZZY”, is somewhat of a passionate, non-stop, Swiss knife!
He has a 20+ year background in residential mortgage financing. He is currently a licensed MLO (Mortgage Loan Originator) in the state of Florida, where he resided for the last 13 years. He is currently pursuing licenses in other states, Tennessee to start with, Alabama, North Carolina, Georgia and New Jersey.
Having experienced the real estate purchase and sales process first hand through the financing aspect of the transaction, he is now a licensed realtor both in Florida and Tennessee. Ozzy decided to pursue becoming a realtor here in Tellico Plains after falling in love (as he describes) with Tellico Plains, its people, and Skyway Realty. He loves walking the lands and discovering every nook and cranny of East Tennessee.
He is also a licensed Insurance Agent in TN & FL. Ozzy believes that an investment as large as a house or land ought to be protected after such sacrifice from all parties involved to make it happen. “You have to take care, protect, and fight for what you work so hard and love” is one of his life’s philosophies.
And if that wasn’t enough, Ozzy spends some 4-6 weeks a year in supporting “Jacob’s Well”, a Christian ministry here in Tellico Plains that educates people in how to support themselves in their own homestead. He enjoys serving as a translator (habla Español), teaching Bible classes through Zoom, trying to teach himself ancient Hebrew and Greek through YouTube, working on his own homestead, but most of all, enjoying his family time with his wife Natalie, baby girl Eliora, and two dogs.

Richard Horine has a degree in economics from Western Illinois University and an MBA from Northern Arizona University. He was active in real estate in Arizona several years ago, but more recently owned an insurance agency in Georgia.
He has two grown children still in Atlanta, as well as 2 grown stepsons and 2 step-grandchildren. Married in 1975 and again in 1998, he and his wife, Joleen, moved to Tellico Plains, where they enjoy the beauty, serenity and peacefulness of the mountains. Richard can also be found cutting his own firewood, teaching Bible scriptures, and spending as much time in the Great Outdoors as possible.

Hi! I’m a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Advertising. I took that degree to get my dream job – staying home to homeschool my three children. Consequently, I took a ton of pictures documenting homeschool field trips and debate tournaments and just daily life.
After my kids graduated I looked for an excuse to keep my creative juices flowing and camera in hand. The opportunity arose to assist Skyway Realty with the photography and video of homes and land. Currently, I use my camera and drone to help tell the stories of Tellico Plains, the mountains, woods, and the abundance of dream properties in area. When I’m not behind the lens, I’m usually refinishing antiques, traveling the world with my husband Jon, painting, or making sure my bees are happy honey makers.
